You can lock the screen of your iPad to prevent your toddler from accessing certain features or apps that you don’t want them to use. Here are the steps to lock the screen of your iPad:

  1. Go to the “Settings” app on your iPad.
  2. Tap on “General.”
  3. Scroll down and tap on “Accessibility.”
  4. Tap on “Guided Access.”
  5. Toggle on “Guided Access.”
  6. Set a passcode to secure Guided Access.

Once you have enabled Guided Access, you can use it to lock your iPad to a single app by doing the following:

  1. Open the app that you want to lock your iPad to.
  2. Triple-click the Home button to enter Guided Access mode.
  3. Use the on-screen controls to circle any buttons, areas, or other elements that you don’t want your toddler to access.
  4. Click the “Start” button in the upper right corner.
  5. Your iPad will now be locked to the app you selected.

You can exit Guided Access mode at any time by triple-clicking the Home button, entering your passcode, and tapping the “End” button in the upper left corner.
